Royals (7-6) vs. Braves (12-1)

This is an early one today as I'll be spending my afternoon listening to this game at work.  Mike Minor (2-0, 0.69 ERA) takes the mound for the Braves today with Wade Davis (1-0, 4.00 ERA) pitching for the Royals.  This is the second and final game of the 2 game interleague series before the Braves travel to Pittsburgh to play 4 games against the Pirates.

Luis Avilan was seen noticeably limping in the clubhouse this morning but says his leg feels better.

One of the reasons the Braves are being precautionary with Brian McCann is he was in Atlanta earlier this week to have his right wrist examined after he complained of tenderness.
